Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE)
DLE represents a transformative approach to lithium production, delivering significantly lower environmental impact while enhancing efficiency and scalability — offering a strong competitive advantage in the market.
This proven technology is already in operation in China and South America, with increasing global adoption. Unlike evaporation ponds or hard rock mining, DLE extracts lithium directly from brine using advanced sorbents or ion-exchange materials, allowing for faster processing times and higher lithium recoveries. The spent brine is reinjected into the aquifer, preserving water balance and minimizing ecological disruption.
Recent advancements in DLE have led to improved selectivity, higher lithium purity, and energy-efficient processing, reducing the carbon footprint of lithium extraction. DLE is positioned to redefine sustainable lithium supply chains for the energy transition.
